but I used the size grid and size 6 came out as if tailored for my daughter

I bought size 6 for my child's height and weight. My daughter is 9 years old, 52 cm tall and weighs 56 pounds. She normally wears a size 8 but I used the size chart and the size 6 fits like it was made especially for my daughter.

Looks great in full suits

Fits as expected. It's a big disappointment when these things have a zip in the back, but other than that this product looks fantastic. Part of the neck rises too high on the back, rubbing off their necks. This bothered one boy so much that he stopped wearing the suit. So my original four stars are now two stars. I am disappointed in this product and do not recommend it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Faded

Great wetsuit! Good price!

I was very concerned reading some of the reviews. In particular, one of them said that the costumes were no longer of good quality. We bought it for my son because he is very thin and always gets very cold when he swims. This costume is of excellent quality and beautifully made. It worked incredibly well and my son was able to spend significantly more time in the pool. The size was perfect for him too. Great price too!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Poor fit, only suitable for overweight children

This wetsuit is only suitable for smaller and overweight children. If you have a taller/thinner child, then they will be oversized in the buttocks/legs. In fact, you can even see how casual this boy is from the product image. A wetsuit must fit snugly to function as intended. Several reviews with photos claiming to be satisfied with the product don't realize that they don't really fit. Otherwise good quality and price.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Compatibility

Reasonable Price

I bought this for my son (just 8.49in, 48lbs) size 6. It's big, but he can still wear it. Pictured is a size 6 Hyperflex resting on a size 10 O'Neill (shoulders fit). O'Neill's seating is good for a skinny kid. Hyperflex is the same width in some areas, including the hips, and may be a better choice for a heavier child. The Hyperflex material appears to be thinner than O'Neill's 2mm. For my skinny child I would rather spend the same amount on a used O'Neill size 6 wetsuit for a better fit.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Negative Impression

I have been surfing for 20 years so I know what a good suit is and how it fits. The seams are not taped, so expect some mileage there. And my 4 year old isn't very small or anything, but a 4 year old size won't fit her until she's 6, I bet there's at least 1 inch of space between the suit and her legs. Maybe I'll order another 13 year old as it will eventually fit this little loafer as it's 4.5 years old and I expected it to fit. Maybe add a size chart and give leg and arm measurements in…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Bad design. Tiny arms, huge legs

I have a tall, slender child. The proportions of this wetsuit are ridiculous, as if it has never been tried on a human child. The armholes are so small I had to cut them out to fit over my child's elbows. I would have thought I had just bought the wrong size but the leg holes were too big and the torso length was pretty good. a little to get a tighter fit. I wonder if I may have received a counterfeit version of this product. I noticed that the stitching was also very uneven (looks like it was…

Pros
  • Great physique
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

A bit big, works well, the material is very high quality.

My son gets very cold during swimming lessons (partly because of medication) and he can't concentrate because he wants to get out of the pool and warm up. I bought a wetsuit to insulate his body and keep him warm while swimming. I pair it with a long-sleeved rashguard (worn under a suit) during his classes to maximize warmth. My husband explained to me that wetsuits work by circulating the water closer to your body so the water stays warmer away from your body. Temperature. I had my son jump in

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • badly thought out
