Bought this to install with my new Pioneer 1500NEX. It came with a USB cable but I wanted more of the original look. I installed it on the underside of my car's center console. It looks pretty OEM to be honest. I would have preferred a slightly longer cable. It worked, but if I had a different car I don't think that length would have worked. After reading many reviews I took a chance that this would work with a Pioneer NEX head unit. As the title says, it is. Even after connecting a 6" USB-C cable to the phone, there is still no problem using Android Auto with my new NEX. The mounting hardware is not as good as others have mentioned.
