This is our second of these rugs. They work really well to help our cat clear dirt from her paws when she leaves the box and catch any debris that flies out when she buries her poo. The carpet is made of a material that looks almost like artificial grass (artificial grass). I find that the best way to clean the carpet is to shake it or hit it with something to get the dirt off it. This is by far the best blanket and solution we have found so far as our cat tends to chase quite a bit of dirt on…

Catches natural cat litter very well

I have one in front of each tray and am adding another row. Sucks well and sucks great! I haven't found a rug or rug that will capture natural cat litter (pine or cedar type - we use Tidy Cats Pure Nature) and neither does this one. We have dark parquet floors, the more dirt that can remain on the mat and does not come up, the better. They're expensive to replace but mine did a good job of washing the outside with a garden hose when I had to once - I was concerned about that after reading other

Probably perfect for non-Yeti cats

I love that this mat is ULTRA HUGE - it's way bigger than anything I've been able to find at Revain, which makes sense for my litter box, which basically is just an open shell. If you have one of those trays that is closed and only opens one way, you probably don't need a mat that big, but if your cat likes coming and going from all four sides, then it will have your name on it. .My cat doesn't seem to like this stuff very much as she is clearly trying to jump off the mat onto my floor; part of

i love the size! I love carpet!

We used to have a more expensive plastic trash mat ($27, IIRC) and it worked very well, but had little to no back support (backing) and started to break down quickly. It also came folded, which only accelerated the process of collapsing where it was folded, further weakening it. The kittens started chewing on it which made things worse so I looked for another one. State on the toilet mat like pet stuff isn't expensive anymore, I thought we'd give it a try. I was a little surprised when I first…

Good carpet, big! Suitable for toilet mats

There doesn't seem to be a perfect solution for litter picking. I've found the only solution is a large mat so the cat has to take a few steps on the mat after exiting the litter box to ensure most are caught. This mat is one of the largest so you can make a big "runway" for your cat to get rid of all the stuffing stuck in their paws. Most mats sold at Petsmart etc are only 1-2 feet wide and our cat either jumps over them or just takes a quick step onto the mat and doesn't catch all the dirt…
