Great for DIY repairs

I use these anchors when the door frame hinges are loose and the screw holes are knocked out. Dip these dowels in wood glue and hammer them into the hole. You can then attach the loop and when the screw enters the glued dowel/hole it is almost stronger than when it was new.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Can damage

Perfect plant sticks!😍

These are perfect for helping my kids grow up straight and tall! Very strong even for being one of your thinnest products but I wanted them to be small so they would be absolutely perfect! Thank you for sending them to me so quickly, which is not often the case with the planting materials I have ordered. I appreciate you!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Nothing

Imperfect. Order with care

I bought two packs. One was excellent. The second package was disappointing as most of the dowels contained bits and pieces like they were seconds. So I had a lot of scraps for the project I used them on. If they're selling seconds, they should only state that they're not perfect so people can decide if they want to buy that particular watch. If a foot or so on the dowel is flat on one side, it's not a perfect dowel. I'm just saying.

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • Small parts

It was a waste of money and time

I give two stars for the quality which seems to be quite high. I deducted three stars because of the wrong size. They are advertised as 1/8 inch in diameter. They are significantly and significantly smaller than 1/8 inch. I pulled out my handy micrometer and they are all (very consistently) 7/64 of an inch. That means they are 7/8 the size they should be. This doesn't seem to matter if you're just holding them to things. But I bought these to replace some of the 1/8" dowels that are part of…

Pros
  • untreated wood
Cons
  • unreliable
