Works well in jig accessories

It works exactly how I wanted it to. I didn't want to spend $60 on a famous brand. I've used it on 1x4 boards and put some wood paneling under the wood while in the clamp to raise it a bit and get the perfect center hole.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Best value for money in power tool parts and accessories

Great value for money, I've looked at them for years and found them to be overpriced, this has not been used to build ladders 2 by 4, because my new deck just hid the screws on the back and it's not really 2 times it's the thickest wood you can use.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Unpretentious but gets the job done

I attach this to a piece of wood with pre-drilled holes on the bottom whenever I need to use it. Allows the workpiece to be easily inserted and clamped so that nothing moves. The only thing I would like is a depth gauge to set the bit to the correct depth before drilling.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Expensive

Suitable for power and hand tools

Item as described. Very easy to use. There were no instructions but I assume by the time you order this you already know what it is for. Not as trendy as other brands but for a quarter of the price you can't go wrong. The assembly is strong, the purchase is satisfied. Already useful in some projects.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Transparent

Great for this newb

I've never made a pocket hole before and am new to working with wood in general. I decided to build a simple shelving unit for my laundry room. I could take it right out of the box and immediately understand how to make pocket holes. The nails on the shelves are gone and look like it was professionally done.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not for wood 2x4 in jig accessories

The clamp makes it impossible to move the jig further from the edge of the wood, far enough for the larger angle required for thicker wood; Therefore, for any wood thicker than 3/4 inch, the hole should be shallow. The hole you create is very close to the edge of the 1.5 inch thick wood, rendering the screw useless as it doesn't grip enough wood.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Not adjustable for different sizes.

Not adjustable for 1.5 inch thickness as stated by the seller in a recent Q&A. The clamp is big enough, but the hole is too close to the surface and doesn't create a strong connection. This is perfect for 3/4" thickness. Make sure you know what you are buying it for. This had to be done for the thickest boards and then you could use spacers to accommodate the thinner boards. It is accurate for 3 /4 inch and I would not recommend it for other thicknesses.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Blank

Works well at the right price.

Easy to use! While it's not as user-friendly as some of the other well-known brands, the price makes it a great addition for its intended use. I don't really like the clamp system, but it still works well. If this is your first time buying this type of product, it's a good place to start without risking a lot of money. I have used this product several times and have found it easy to use and durable enough to last a while. Conclusion: A good device at a great price.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
