Perfect for my 45 gallon rimless JBJ tank They are way better than the plastic media boxes that came with the tank (those things don't work at all). I hope these socks solve the nutrient issue caused by the poor filtration they replaced. Haven't had to clean them yet but they don't seem to be any worse than other filter socks I've used in other aquariums over the years. As with all filter socks, you should rinse them well before use.
