Inspiron Latitude Alienware DA130PE1 00 Notebook Review

My husband bought this charger to replace his original charger. About a week after purchase, the charger suddenly stopped working. Turned on as usual, but it no longer works. After checking it in several outlets, he found that it was a charger. He tried again in our room and the light went out. He flipped the switch and tried again, but his computer burned out. It doesn't even start anymore. $800 down the drain instead of a $30 charger.

The rubber coating around the wires began to crack after only 6 months to the point where I could see the copper wiring inside. After about 3 months of use, every time I restarted my Dell Inspiron 7559 while it was plugged in, I was redirected to a screen warning me that my charger didn't provide a proper outlet to charge my laptop. Edit: Mine only lasted a year but that's because I took it to class and used it heavily every day. Edit 2: Reordered because the current one is already showing signs of depletion but is holding up so far. It's nice to have a spare charger on hand.
