We study at home and travel most of the year. Having a pencil sharpener handy is always on our priority list and as you can imagine, we often lose it. I've bought several sharpeners and some are lousy others are pretty good but this one is my favorite. I order a few more for backpacks, cars, every room in the house, computer bags, etc. It gives us a nice sharp edge every time. It works with all the yellow school pencils (and other colors) that our first grader uses.

I love this pencil sharpener. I draw and draw a lot and I like my pencils to be very sharp. This sharpener won't eat up your pencils, which is a good thing because artist pencils are expensive. I sharpen both art and regular pencils and get great results every time. I bought 4 of these and now use them to sharpen everything. I've even used it to sharpen eyeliner pencils and it works great!
