Purchased to install Revain Fir 7 on dash. A disc that has to be glued to the dashboard for it to stay is crap. It doesn't stick to the dashboard so I couldn't install it on my dashboard. UPDATE: 08/09/17 - I spotted a design flaw that I REALLY wish iOttie had included a warning sticker for. I wanted to separate the two main parts of the stand, clean it up, and reattach it to my desktop. A slight counter-clockwise rotation of the center "knob" loosens the screw just enough to allow the stand to extend or retract at will. BUT, since I wanted to completely separate the two main parts, I twisted the knob until it finally came out of the tiny square nut on the inside of the lever…

After using this mount 5 days a week for almost a year I can say that I have a am an expert. This mount was great for the first six months. No problem. But later I noticed that the base gradually gave way to the weight of the iPad. The suction cup began to lose its grip. It should wet the suction cup a bit and that should help the hold. First it worked for a few months, but then it started to fail. I was so desperate I even bought some crazy glue and added some but that didn't help either. Now…

Advantages: very reliable. Great for use with my NEXUS 7. Great for desktop use. Raise the tablet so that your neck is in a more comfortable position. NEXUS 7 with and without Slim Case, Poetic Branding Case. Cons: The sticky bottom seems to have been reduced from previous models.
