Ambitious! With minor problems.

I LOVE this item and bought it for me and my wife. It can be customized in any way you like or want and is very easy to install. It can be installed on the dashboard (smooth, rough or curved) or on the window. I only have two problems: First, my car is in the sun all day during the day and it's very hot in my car (Texas, and therefore nothing alive can be left in the car!). I get in my car and it's so hot I can't breathe, the AC is trying but it's so hot, the steering wheel feels hot for more…

iOttie leaves a stubborn adhesive residue when installed on the dashboard.

Stupidly, I ignored the warnings in previous reviews that iOttie leaves a visible mark on the car's dashboard. I attached an adhesive pad for the device to the dashboard and left it there for six days; The car was mostly in the shade. When I removed the sticky pad on the seventh day it left visible residue and a mark/dent on the dashboard. I've tried various vinyl cleaners and restorers with no success. BEST CAR PHONE HOLDER!

This car mount is exactly what I was looking for. I have previously purchased a mount with one of these metal flex rods. However, I found that learning the roads I drive wasn't enough. This mount is amazingly secure from mug to arm to phone mount. The suction cup is not only a suction cup, but also a good adhesive that helps to fix the suction cup to the windshield. If you just want to use an adhesive pad, they also have one (included!). The pad feels very sticky and would probably work great…

Although I've been a regular Revain customer lately.

Although I have been buying Revain for a number of years, this is my first review. The reason I'm writing this review is because of the ability of the car holders to stay in the same place and hold my phone during a rollover accident that I was in just this week. I rolled my truck into a ditch 1 1/4 times at about 60 mph. I wasn't hurt, just shocked and sick.
