This is a good wool blend pant, very stylish, with a slim fit so there are no wide legs found on some pants . My son is a size 12 and is very thin but his waist was still small and a little short for his below average size. You might want to size these pants the way we do.

Good quality pants. The thighs are cut very tight. My 13 year old son who wears skinny 14s found them too tight in the hips. They look like skinny jeans on him. Since we bought them for a formal occasion, they weren't the "style" for it. Luckily they fit my 10 year old son who is a skinny size 12. I had them sewn by a seamstress. On my 10 year old the waist and hips of these pants were nice and roomy. He will wear them with a belt, but they fit well without a belt, loose but not falling around…

Perspective: I am a 1.6m tall adult male who often purchases formal wear for children specifically for desk work. I bought and lined them in a size 18 due to my stockier build. The percentages for wool/polyamide are incorrect. According to the label, the fabric is 10% wool and 90% polyester. However, the material doesn't feel cheap even with a high polyester content, which makes it machine washable.
