Jack Richeson Tortillions Small 12 Pack Review

I'm just beginning to learn how to use them, but you can really see the difference in where not to use them and where to use them. It smooths out strokes and makes the colors used much lighter.

These tortillons last a long time. They also don't break or become "fuzzy". I like them best for small areas and high accuracy. Because of their size, they can be transported in small art bags. I had a drawing class for 2 years.

They are perfect for my needs. I bought these to shade small areas. They are very small, which you need to know. I've gotten some similar sizes in the hobby lobby, but they were much stiffer and didn't hide the paper as much as dented it. These Jack Richardson models are hard enough to hold their shape well, but soft enough to cast nice shadows. Ideal! I'm glad I bought two packs.
