This is an all season/non waterproof jacket. I tried the waterproof version but it's too heavy for off-road riding. In terms of heat, this seems to be suitable for driving through mountainous country roads in summer and autumn. Bought this for entry level bikes when I thought I was likely to ride in the rain. In fact, it rained the whole second day of class and it was about 50 degrees.
