This is a very smooth and comfortable tie (I returned it because it wasn't the color I expected but it was my fault). It has a beautiful and smooth black and green pattern with black fibers woven between the greens to create tiny checks. Very good.

Description says "wool, silk and cotton". It's probably polyester. Since it doesn't come with the FTC required content label, who knows? There is no indication of its contents on the tie, nor on the square, nor on the box, nor on any other papers in the box. Apparently this is one of those goods from China that is being imported bypassing US trade laws and sold on Revain. I think if a polyester tie goes with your tracksuit, have fun.

In general, it was a beautiful and pleasant to the touch tie. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because the tie pin is stuck inside the tie and can't be removed. If your seam is torn, you can still open and remove it, but if you're in a hurry, this becomes problematic.

The tie is pleasantly thin and yet formal. The material looks good and holds up well. The pocket square is also very pretty and fits perfectly in my jacket pocket. The tie pin isn't the best material but I don't wear it very often so it was a small detail.
