Every night instead of going to bed. That's how you know if your bed is too high for you, it wouldn't kill my foot at night if it wasn't centered properly (and it's wide enough that it actually doesn't really do that). one more issue.) The only thing I noticed is that it creaks a bit every now and then when the legs come loose. I hope that's not indicative of a shorter lifespan, but so far so good and it's been about a month. I'm thankful for that every night.

Very nice stool, color as in the picture only plastic legs! And not even heavy, nice looking, maybe made of plastic with a wood look. No, just the cheapest plain brown hollow plastic legs to put furniture on. It's a real shame because if it weren't for the cheap legs it would look very expensive and fancy. At the same time, the price of the item is too high. Keep searching.

Nice color and nicer than the picture on my computer. I have to admit that I was very careful that the legs are plastic. I liked the look of the stool so much that I took the risk and ordered it anyway. I'm happy to report that if you can't feel the legs they look like wood from a distance and don't spoil the look. The footrest is solid and I expect it to hold up well. I would highly recommend this stool if it suits your decor.

The legs are plastic not wood as stated on the Amazon page! This should immediately make the item $20 cheaper than it is at least! The footrest itself looks lovely and I love the blue color of the ones I ordered, but I think it's overpriced, especially when you paid almost full price for it! I bought it for $40 so I'm still willing to keep it. Also remember that the legs are stored in a zipped compartment inside the stool, you have to screw them to the base of the stool. I almost sent it back…

Perfect for my use when I climb onto my bed high enough that it started to hurt my lower back and hips (when I'd sit on a horse every night instead). to climb into bed.. so you know if your bed is too high for you.. at night it won't kill my leg if it's not centered properly (and it's wide enough that this isn't a problem yet).
