My TV is on a bookshelf at the foot of my bed. I like to sleep on my side although when I fall asleep it annoys me not being able to see the tv like this so I bought it and attached it to the headboard so it slides out and rotates when I'm lying on my side I can watch the tv look through the mirror at an angle. It works great and in the morning or when I'm not using it I can just press it against the wall. The quality has lasted for 2 years!

I bought this mirror specifically for my wife and her contact lenses. Retractable standard mirror, magnifying mirror. I read some bad reviews about it but so far so good. This is the third time I have had to buy this device. Love it - it's great for applying makeup up close and then styling your hair from afar. However, the way the mirror is bolted to the extension causes it to gradually come loose as I switch from one side of the mirror to the other. After falling and breaking the mirror twice and having to buy this unit again just to get the mirror, now I'm trying to remember to tighten the screw when using the mirror. This is a well-made mirror. It's easy to position. A nice feature is that it mounts with a slim bracket that fits in the small space next to my mirror (photo). The mirror tends to move slightly along its axes. There's a small adjustment screw to tighten lateral movement, but no adjustment for yaw. I bought this rotating wall mirror from Jerdon because I needed to be able to see the back of my head when coloring my hair. This is a fantastic mirror, just what I've wanted and needed for years. Excellent magnifying mirror with excellent pull-out ability! I love that it lays flat against the wall until you pull it out, pans easily between normal and 3x magnification, and the mirror/image quality is excellent. Reading the reviews, many people have complained that it swings freely or away from the wall. You had no problems with that.
