I bought several of these in different grits because I have a lot of tools that need to be brought back to life. I laminated them to a sheet of plywood that was one inch thick. (Strong materials with lots of layers!) Here are the results. Again I have to buy a lower grit and create another board because I couldn't make sure the board I was using was really flat. Excellent diamond bur comparable to any others I have including much more expensive ones. I recommend them for serious sharpening. The coarser grit in the 400-1200 size range is ideal for hunting and our Victorinox universal knives. A finer grit of 1800 to 3000 grit is suitable for sharpening woodworking tools, Sloyd knives, spoon carvings and Kuska chisels. I agree with Mike B. this is great value for money.
