I wanted to please - manometer sets

Always read inconsistently, today I noticed why. The pointer touches the dial surface in the range of 29-34 psi. After airing from the beach and doing regular tire checks about a dozen times in the last 5 months since I've had it, the needle left a mark on the front of the sensor. If I don't bump it against the tire when taking the pressure, the needle gets stuck at about 30psi and I don't get a true reading. It also makes a solid and well thought-out impression. But this also makes him…

Solid sensor, feels high quality, responds quickly

Generally reliable sensor. I haven't had a chance to compare it to a calibrated pressure gauge, but judging by the pressure during operation it seems accurate. The sensor is easy to read and reacts quickly. My only issue (and the reason I returned it) is that I didn't know it wouldn't hold the print. As soon as you take it off the hoop the needle drops to 0. I'm going to replace it with a Joe's Gauge Pro. with hold function. I've never had a pressure release gauge that doesn't hold pressure so…

11% inaccurate. in gauge sets

As with other people's reviews, my gauge is off 4psi in the middle of the range where it should be most accurate. The gauge reads 35psi but three other brand new gauges indicate 39 psi This is approximately -11% error from actual pressure The lowest ANSI Class D standard is 4% difference or 1.4 psi error at a stated pressure of 35 psi at mid-range. A gauge that is 11% off center of range is bad.The gauge is well designed and easy to use.I could keep using it if I wanted to mentally add 4psi to…

Excellent pressure gauge

Have owned for about 3 years. Holding up well, no sticky plastic bits, hose ruptures etc (there is some rusting see photo but I live in a hot humid climate). Usually in the trunk of a car or garage. The glow-in-the-dark dial proved to be more useful than I imagined. Lights up long enough to check and inflate 4 tires with plenty of time. After 3 years and some abuse (drops on the pavement, bangs in a tool box, sometimes left on a vibrating compressor) the accuracy is still 1-2psi mid-range…

Excellent pressure gauge. Even better customer service.

I've bought 2 of these over the last few years. I like the large dial and large size that makes it hard to lose in the car or garage, unlike the few pen-style gauges or other compact gauges that I've lost. To be clear, I only use them to check the tires on our three passenger cars; I don't use it for racing. When I received my second gauge I noticed that there was a 4psi difference between the original gauge I bought. I had a feeling that the second sensor was faulty as the original sensor was…
