A game changer in cutlery and knife accessories

I have a giant 6 foot Boos prep table at home that serves as my kitchen island. I have always used paper towels to apply oil and cream. This applicator does an excellent job of dispensing product without any waste. I benefit four times more from my product jars.

Pros
  • Nice touch
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Does the job, great tool for working with John Boos products

It did exactly what I bought it to do - spread my John Boos oils and creams easily and evenly on the boards. I love that it comes with a lid so I can store it without worrying about leaving residual oil somewhere.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • repair

Highly recommended! for cutlery

How did I live without that in the past? I used paper towels which soaked up a lot of oil. I tried using pieces of cut utensils but my hands got greasy. The thing really works, my hands are clean and I can touch the board every night after washing and drying it.

Pros
  • also understandable for old people
Cons
  • vulgarities

Must be. No luxury. So practical.

Yes. And so comfortable. The black cup protects the sponge when not in use. Sticks right on the countertop next to the cutting board. Take it. You will not regret it. Such convenient and easy to use BOOS Mystery Oil and Cream products that you need to buy separately. The best system so far for the care and cleanliness of my cutting board.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Obsolete

Easy to hang - cutlery and knife accessories

I used this today and it has made things a lot easier. I used to have to press hard to work the oil and wax into the countertop. With this tool. it was done with half the effort. The tool feels good in the hand and speaks volumes when working with oil and wax paste. They are inherently slippery. Excellent purchase. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

This is a must have if you have a cutting board

We just installed a John Boos cutting board. I oiled them a bit as they are new and soaking up a bit. The first few times I used a rag or paper towel and it didn't seem like most of it landed on the wood, but rather soaked into the rag/paper towel. Also, there didn't seem to be much oil on the wood to soak up overnight as instructed. This applicator arrived today so I decided to give it a whirl. First, I used a lot less oil. Second, it was much easier/quicker to use. Third, a good layer of oil…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

I used to apply Boos Block Mystery Oil by pouring a little on the surface and then applying it with my fingers like most people do Sponges do applicators absorb the oil instead of distributing it. The sponge of this applicator is used to spread oil. Pad This applicator pad is stiffer than regular sponges and has larger pores for an even application. It feels rough when first applied, but avoid pressure and follow the fibers to facilitate gliding. I wish the pillow was removable/replaceable, it…

Pros
  • Cutlery and knife accessories
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
