These gloves are my new favorite for TIG welding.

I work all day in a repair shop making stainless steel parts. These gloves are very thin and perfect for getting a good feel for my fill metal, but despite being so thin I'm surprised at how well they handle metal parts that often still have sharp burrs. They also insulate well.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good TIG gloves - 3 months lifespan for light to medium use

Excellent gloves for $18. Good fit, great sensitivity, good heat protection up to 100 amps. I've been using several hours a week for the past 3 months, mainly SS TIG 18 gauge, 80-120 amps. Used for grinding and machining sharp parts. A good compromise between durability, maneuverability and protection as well as price. Can't beat him for $18. I got a hole in my thumb last week and bought a new pair again. If I were a pro I could change a pair every month but for the price this is a reasonable…

The best TIG glove I've ever had.

I have had a pair of these gloves for a few months now and have used them many times. They are amazing. First, their sturdy construction avoids typically very fragile seams where heat could damage them - a problem with all other brands of TIG gloves I've had. As such, these gloves have outlasted many other brands. Second, these gloves are the most comfortable I've ever had. Although the glove is durable, it is made of thin and supple leather, allowing for a light 'touch' when handling the wand…

Very comfortable, good dexterity

I bought them for metalworking, grinding and cutting. Ordinary work gloves last about a week before the sparks from the grinder melt the thread on your thumb and forefinger. Bought these for Kevlar thread and they are BIG. After a month the threads are still intact and I have no problem manipulating tools when measuring and marking. The most comfortable work gloves I've ever owned. However, I cut off the velcro as soon as I received it. I do the same with Mechanix gloves. I don't know why glove

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Functionality

Everything is fine. I am a woman, I have long fingers but thin hands and small wrists. They fit well. I'm not sure I would call her a medium. Maybe small? Not sure what the glove standard is and if there is one, sizing wise. They do absolutely nothing for thermal protection. And I mean nothing. It's not listed in the description anyway, but they turn up when looking for heat resistant gloves. If you touch something very quickly you won't burn yourself, but I can't really lift something hot if…
