Apparently not for real work.

Bought for work, I had to take a port freight with me. In about 3 weeks of daily use they had huge cuts on my palms and a few small cuts on my fingers. The price is good, the quality is different. I've had the gloves for the rigging in the harbor for about 6 months now, they haven't snapped. And they were the same price.

Doesn't quite fit

I really want to like them but they don't quite fit me. They can be used as my thumb and forefinger fit well but the other fingers are too long for my hand. I am surprised as I have used many medium sized Tillman MIGs, clubs and work gloves and they have always fitted me perfectly. If they fit your hand you'll like them, but next time I'll try either a different Tillman model or brand.

Pros
  • Hand and arm guards
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

It takes less than 3 minutes to figure out what size you need. I have 750 and 850 (both elk leather) for stick and MIG and use them for TIG. I've been using it for a month with no problems. The cored wire can be fed in so easily. Yes, they have large cuffs. This is pretty standard for welding gloves. What an odd complaint some reviewers have. You must…

Well made welding glove

I use these gloves every day for production work, mainly high power MIG welding. I use a thicker pair of company-supplied gloves for really awkward stuff, but as they say they hold up well if you're reasonable with your expectations. They definitely block heat and spatter from most welding jobs. Every once in a while I'll catch some hot stuff doing my overheads with the glove and feel safe, but I can always make small adjustments and keep going without burning myself. I recommend them for…
