The case is very light, one of the lightest I've seen, but well made. The shoulder strap is well padded and comfortable. I can fit a dozen or more balls in one pocket, a bottle of water, t-shirts, and a bag of valuables in the other bottom pockets. I have no problem hiding a light jacket in a long bag.
