Breaks easily at Garage & Shop

Bought some of these. After a year and a half of use, I found that the plastic strip that connects the lid to the body breaks very easily. Second, they didn't specify what size hole to drill in the fuel tank, so I had to experiment a bit. Once the correct hole size was determined, it was very tedious to snap the vent holes into the plastic jar. Some of the vents even came off the surface of the canister and had to be replaced, and the half of the vent that actually snapped into the canister had

GREAT SOLUTION TO SLOW FILLING PROBLEM

These vent caps make draining my 5 gallon fuel tanks that much easier. The five-gallon jug is quite heavy and uncomfortable to hold when dispensing fuel, especially in cold weather. Government. Specialist. no vent spouts, just empty the jug with a slow sip, inhale, sip your breath. With a vent in the game government. Specialist. Spouts now flow/function as nature intended. Saves time and hands. Plus it was a great price for such a quantity. I would buy again but since I ordered such a largeโ€ฆ

Do not buy this product

I bought them for the same reason as everyone else. For venting new gas cylinders, especially Rotopax. If I hadn't checked these vents before drilling the holes I would have ruined my new and expensive Rotopax. I've tried most of the 20 that came in the case I bought and none of them stayed locked for a few seconds. My Rotopax is mounted on the outside of my jeep and those vents that wouldn't stay closed would allow fuel to spill all over the place as I drive. I'm looking for other options butโ€ฆ

This is garbage - they flow like a stuck pig.

These vents are tricky to install, they don't seal tightly and if fuel gets into a closed vent it will spill out like there's no tomorrow. I drilled a 1/2" hole in 3 plastic fuel tanks and had to resort to a hammer and a folded piece of cardboard to install the vent. I loved this tight fit as there would be less chance of leakage (at least I thought so). I drove straight to the gas station and filled up all three cans. When I got home, fuel was leaking out of all three vents across the back ofโ€ฆ

Cheap, thin and hassle free

Took the EZ fuel spout and vent cap from the tractor delivery and modified the fuel tank. I loved the result so much that I bought these to add to my other 7 glasses so I can use the spout on each glass for quick, spill-free work. One of the lid straps broke when inserted into the jar, another lifting tab broke while playing with it in my hand. Another vent cover strap broke just by using the vent. Very cheap product, very thin plastic. The manufacturer and seller of this product should beโ€ฆ

Poor Design: Tools and Equipment

The person who buys this product buys it to replace their old one because they always break. It's easy to turn off the old one. The new one should just appear where the old one was, but that doesn't work. The diameter is too small to seal everything when you put in a new one. Also, they want you to drill a new hole with a 31/64 bit. Check it out on Amazon, it's a drill that costs about $15. If you try to find a drill locally, no one has one. Why didn't they at least make the 1/2 drill thatโ€ฆ
