Exceptional quality construction, dusky reptilian style, and after most summer, beach and everyday trips they show little to no signs of wear. Don't get me wrong. These are great shoes for the water. I love her! However, pay close attention to the daily price fluctuations. This shoe jumped from 79.99 to 104.99 in 4-5 days. I've been watching the price for a while and it seems that the price changes regularly. If you get it on the right day, you can save a lot of money. If you don't like a certain color, other colors are sometimes cheaper.

I wore them for 4 days as a regular office work casual shoe. By the end of the fourth day, when I took them off, the sandals smelled so bad I would probably throw them out. According to the Keen website, they must contain "Cleansport NXT™ for natural odor control" and be breathable. The sandals are too small to wear with socks. Aside from the smell, they are not very comfortable at all.

The size 10 1/2 I needed was at least 1 size too small. I found the toe box to be tucked uncomfortably under that front plastic cleat and the heal was 3/8ths of the way up the outsole. I'm a heavy user and this has never happened before so it was weird. For this particular model, you must order one size larger than usual. Also, due to the soft textile material, this water shoe offers no ankle support and little arch support.

These are the most comfortable and flexible sandals I have ever owned. Excellent water grip on corals and they float. HOWEVER, when they talk about ODOR CONTROL, don't believe it! I wore them on vacation for a week and used them as water shoes to walk on coral and avoid sea urchins. Now they're cleaning up the stench. I've washed and deodorized several times but the smell won't go away. These are NOT GOOD WATER sandals. I throw mine in the trash. They stink too much to wear in public!

The shoes themselves fit and wear very well. My issue is that the upper doesn't emit formaldehyde - ammonia - or something that smells awful and is very strong. I washed them repeatedly and used antibacterial soap and then put them in the freezer for 3 days in case it was bacteria. It's not like this. I contacted the seller and the manufacturer and basically got a shrug as a solution. I hope that the gas formation will stop over time. Before that they are stored in the garage.
