Don't throw away the original remote control parts. I've found that if you just move and reassemble the electronics it doesn't work because one of the buttons keeps touching. Replaced original parts and everything works.

The product is only for the outer shell, not included the electronic board. It's good if you have a working remote control with a damaged case. It only took a minute to move the electronic board into the new case. show the original case on the left and the new case on the right.

You will definitely notice a difference with the outer shell of the Toyota OEM key fob. The shell isn't that refined, but for the price it's a good buy. Perfect for the motherboard inside and easy to seal. Works and performs exactly like an OEM Toyota key fob. Serious farewell compared to the price of getting a replacement direct from Toyota.

My original key fob broke where the key ring went through both of my remotes over the years. I used glue as a temporary solution but if I had known about it I wouldn't have tried it. Pros: It's very easy to swap out the electronics from the old remote to the new one - it took less time than changing the battery. Perfect fit - all buttons work great Cons: None as far as I can see It's worth the money.

As soon as I traded my innards for this keychain case/pouch, my alarm clock really started going off like it was inhabited by phantoms. It literally embarrassed me at every stop because my alarm would just go off for no reason while I was in the car, locking the doors and occasionally locking me in until the AI manually pulled my locking tabs. I put everything back in the Toyota case (the old one was in a drawer) and everything worked great. I've changed the battery in the remote twice already…
