I've been using the Uni KH-20 sharpener for about three years, my old one lasted a good two and a half years. The old one still sharpens but it doesn't give me as much delicacy as the new Uni KH-20 so I bought it again. So if, like me, you need that extra thin tip for your work, you may need to buy it back in a few years. I'm not sure if there's a way to sharpen the blade, but I'll take a look.
