I've had these boots for about six weeks and have already put TONS of hours in them. I can't tell you how many cowboy boots I've worn over the years and these were by far the most comfortable. I feel like they broke in pretty well after the first wear (I was up about 6-8 hours that day). Mine already have this shabby look, but they wear phenomenally. I usually wear size 12 shoes but sometimes size 11.5 in some dress shoes. I wasn't sure about these boots so I downloaded Ariat's own measurement chart, printed it out and used it and both of my feet were right on the 12th line so I ordered them a size 12. was easily a half to a full size larger and the right boot was about a full size to a size and a half larger than a size 12.
