I bought my Kirby Ultimate G 2017 used and it had the original brush roller when it was made in 2003. Our Sentria is about 10 years old and seems to need a new belt more often and you can't get it as deep as before without even starting to slip with it new belt. In the end I decided to try the new pulley as the old one had a very slick area where the belt was. The new reel has completely solved the sliding problem. I ordered this because I was having trouble turning my old brush roll. It turned out that this was due to bad belts. I had the same issues with this new brush roller. After troubleshooting and speaking to the local Kirby service center, we determined it was indeed the belts. Do not buy cheap imitation belts. It's ok as we've had Kirby for a while now and a new brush roll was long overdue. It appears to be a genuine Kirby product. The price is great and is half of what my service center was…
