Kitchen Scissors Japan Stainless Detachable Review

I used these at my granddaughter's house. I asked where they bought them. Your husband sent me a link. For the price you can't go wrong. Such a wonderful pair of scissors for my kitchen. They can be disassembled for easy cleaning.

At $22 this is a good example of good value. The handles are riveted to the blades, making them cheaper to manufacture. The price reflects this. I use them in my shop, they are easy to clean and if they break they are not expensive to replace.

good scissors. I'm a little hesitant to recommend them as the blades are riveted. They are not one piece like other solid metal shears I have purchased. BUT I knew that before I bought it. Only time will tell if they end up together. Be careful, they are sharp.

Excellent kitchen scissors for the price. Compared to our replacement wusthoff sliding shears, they are heavier, have sharper blades and are easier to clean. They aren't as sharp as poultry shears but work well with boneless chicken and produce.

I'm very picky about purchases but this one couldn't be better. Yes, the blades are riveted to the handles, but you really don't notice. All of the steel is of the highest quality and I LOVE the fact that you can easily separate the scissors for cleaning. I like to cut bacon while it's still in the wrapper, which is a difficult task for most scissors. These scissors do it with little effort. + in every way.

I bought because they are made in Japan and can be shared, in that regard they were great, the quality looks good off, like and to be expected from Japan. However, as can be seen in the pictures, each half consists of two parts riveted together. I was looking for a good pair of shears to replace the rusty Cutco I had previously. I looked and looked and saw very expensive scissors that didn't really look good. Yes I know Cutco will replace my rusty shears but I never really liked them and was very sad that they were rusty to begin with. You are perfect for me.
