Although I've read people's reviews of sharp knives, I didn't believe them. I figured I was risking disappointment for the price, but it turned out to be really in my favour. They don't "seem" like high quality knives because of the handles, but they work great. I take good care of them, wash them after use and dry them thoroughly so I think they will last a long time. Happy with this purchase.

Just great. I like their color and shape. I wanted to get a "cheap set" to see through this until I could afford the ridiculous $300 set I wanted, but I think it's a win. The only thing I didn't really like. is that they are in two parts, so when washing there is a chance that "if you don't dry them vertically down" there could be a damp smell. I prefer a solid knife. But what you get for this price is great.

They were pretty cheap so I thought let's try and see. Maybe they are great. When I received the item I was disappointed. The handles are made of some sort of plastic I think and almost spray painted to "look" like wood. I've used one of the knives 3 or 4 times and now the handle is completely loose and will soon come loose. If one breaks, the others will soon follow. I have returned this item. It's not worth it. Instead we bought some higher quality all metals that will hopefully last a little

Excellent knives at a great price. They easily cut everything from meat to fruit to bread. There can be no talk of difficulties yet. Easy to use and very ergonomic. You look great too! I love the black blades and the dark wooden handles. It goes very well with my kitchen. I also like that they come with high quality plastic sleeves instead of disposable cardboard sleeves. I bought these knives expecting to get what I paid for, cheap knives at a low price. Well, they're not made with the best materials and manufacturing methods, but they WORK. Very sharp out of the box. I have knives that cost the same as this whole set, but they're not nearly as sharp when they come out of the box. Bought this set a while ago and have to say the blades are very sharp. The handle is some kind of plastic and I have a feeling that if I used a dishwasher the color of the handle would probably fade over time so I hand wash only. While there are no issues, the blades are sharp and will keep sharpening. After a month of active use, the blades have not dulled.
