This industrial tool is a complete waste of money. Despite the promises of heavy-duty performance, it barely made a scratch on our metal sheets. The only positive thing is that it looks sturdy and well-built. But alas, it doesn't live up to its appearance. It's disappointing that this product passed the quality check of the Industrial and Scientific category. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a proper nibbler.

Arrived in good condition. I didn't expect it to come from Germany. It is well made and works well. I use it to make cuts in metal pipes that are difficult to cut with other methods. The cutting blades of the coffee grinder and the grinder allow a lot of cleaning work. Knipex nibblers make gaps clean and easy with no cleaning required. One problem is that the pins are flat and it's easy to pinch the fleshy part of your finger by squeezing them. OH!

I use this tool to make some cuts in 7 inch sheet metal of .031 gauge aluminum and stainless steel. The tool works well but requires the use of a very specific tool. to make multiple cuts and move quickly around the sheet. I think it's better to keep it upside down. You also need to make cuts that aren't the full length of the blade to avoid small indentations at the end of each cut. The raw edge has some ridges, so if you want it to be perfectly smooth, plan for a little sanding.
