Ultrasonic cleans lenses as advertised. The reason I only gave it 4 stars was because the lenses go in the cleaning basket. This basket floats in a block. If you remove the basket by tilting it slightly after a cleaning session, the lenses will fly out of the basket and into the device. Several times the lenses floated to the same side of the basket during cleaning. The first time this happened I thought I had lost the lens. A closed basket would be great.
