When the strips are placed on it, it is difficult to tell if the tool is free from the blade. For inside corners, use the blade to align the beveled edges. On outside corners, the blade rests against the beveled edge of the tool, and many times I had to pull the shape away from the tool just before cutting to see that the beveled edge was in the way of the blade.
