I like this item - spacious and simple design except for 1 item. As others have pointed out, the top and middle platforms rotate independently. The top is the guide for the harness and the center carries the weight of the harness. Often, when rotating the carousel with a lid or tray, the handles of the tray move, twist, and begin to fall out of position. When I think of turning it with the middle platform it usually stays together.
