This does not fit my Dyson V8 as advertised. I almost changed my mind about getting rid of the dogs in the office. Indeed it was. but then the owner started angrily and seemingly recklessly combing the dog, resulting in the fluff flying up in the air and straight into my nose, where I was hoping to keep the hair from entering in the first place.

Bought for my German Shepherd who sheds a lot. I use Animal with my Dyson Slim-Ball. Took the wand off the hose to use and it connects easily. There is a button on the top of the brush that opens the bristles. When you release the button, the protective cover hides the bristles, causing the hair to be sucked into the vacuum hose. The bristles are weak, thin, metallic, but they do an excellent job of pulling up fallen hair. Because they hide when the button isn't pressed, they remain protected…

This item works fine on my dog but the straight part doesn't fit the brush head and the brush head doesn't fit well on my Dyson vacuum. hose and it keeps coming off. It's annoying having to hold down the button to brush, I wish it was the other way around (press to release the bristles and suck up the hair). In most cases we can pull enough wool out of the German Shepherd's back to fill the pillow and inevitably we have to drag the vacuum to do this right after this combing because of the amount of wool that goes everywhere.
