Excellent dimmable table lamp

I bought this table lamp to replace a very old table lamp that had burned out bulbs and there is no replacement available. This works very well - at maximum brightness setting it offers a lot of good working light. My only minor complaint is that the on/off function is a simple touch - which means that if you accidentally miss the "off setting" you'll have to do all 4 brightness adjustments again to turn the light off, which is something is annoying. . Otherwise it is compact and works very…

Intermittent

Since I bought this beautiful lamp it has not always lit when the switch was on. Other times, the lights would go out and come back on an hour or two later. I tried three different bulbs, so I know the problem isn't with the blown bulb. I also tried it in two different houses. Something in the control mechanism has to overheat for it to shut down. When it cools down, it turns on again. That's just my theory. If I can't get a refund or replacement, Revain will have to stop selling this lamp or…

Very good light, bright and almost identical to Northern Lights.

Very good light, bright and almost identical to the northern lights from my window. I would like the adjustable arm to extend further forward as the base is quite large. Added September 24: The bulb burned out in less than a month. I will order another lamp but it doesn't seem right. I'll give him one more chance before I kick him out. December 7: It wasn't a lightbulb. The lamp is out of order. I couldn't return it. I will buy an anchor with 3 light levels. At least now I have spare bulbs as I

This is the best deal for beating the blues.

In October 2015 I had open heart surgery. Little did I know that 70% of all men who undergo this procedure, which requires the use of a heart-lung machine, go on to become deeply depressed. Predictably, this aggravated my Seasonal Mood Disorder, minimizing my emotional state and leaving me temporarily paralyzed by a blues. I'm not kidding: this little table lamp is saving my life. my surgery to get through the sunless winter days, but it has really been a well-used and popular addition to my…

You get what you pay for.

Bought this lamp because my Portsmouth Home Sunlight Black table lamp from Kohl was destroyed by a power surge in my office on 28/06/19. As the Portsmouth lamp is more expensive I went with this one as it is exactly the same lamp. Very very disappointed. It's not even worth going back. My lamp arrived well packaged. This morning at work I opened the box, everything is marked there, a piece of plastic fell out somewhere and a plug is dangling out the back. The only good thing is that it uses the

Amazing for my dark office and tired eyes!

After a recent move I found myself in a drab, dark office. Depressing, sure, but it also started giving me a headache after staring at computer screens in mild darkness for 9 hours a day. This lamp makes it possible! I pointed it at an angle towards my two monitors. It provides a very bright yet fairly natural light that I can easily work with without distorting the colors or resolution of my monitors (note that my monitors have matte screens - you need to be careful if your screens are glossy,

Inexpensive daylight solution

This lamp is worth the money. Is this the best product ever made? probably not, but it's a substantial size and the light is even and bright. Although the lamp's neck is adjustable, it's fairly limited in the angles it can offer. The on/off switch is small and hidden, but if you know where it is, it's easy to find blindfolded. The light is not adjustable, it is either on or off. Conclusion - a very good table lamp, does what it should and is very economical. A final note: lamps are always…

12 years old and still runs like a champ

I will have this lamp for 12 years next month. There were times when I didn't use it very much (working away from the office so my desk lamp wasn't needed) but for the past few years I've been working exclusively from home and this little guy has been forced to work. . I live in the Pacific Northwest and the months of November through May can be pretty boring. This lamp lights up my desk way better than my monitors or room lights, reducing eye strain and making dark days a little bit brighter…
