🔧 Pack of 10 PVC Pipe Leak Repair Rings - Leak-B-Gone 45030 Plumbing - 1-1/2" Size Review

I bought this to fix a leak in a place where it would be difficult to remove and replace the tubing. It was unsuccessful and I still have a leak. The glue holding the joint together had to be scraped off to try and get it flush with this one. It seems to require an absolutely perfect joint with no excess glue to work.

Although a bit expensive for the part received, they work. It was easy to install, hooked up with no hassles, and sealed the leak, saving me hours of work cutting out a drain fitting that contained a two-story vent tube. I highly recommend this product. Also for a do-it-yourselfer.

Didn't snap into 1 1/2 inch PVC flex pipe no matter how hard I tried. And even after this part was primed in addition to the pipe, it still didn't seem to take any glue. Since it couldn't snap, it probably wasn't making good contact with the pipe. Great idea, horrible design and poorly made as it doesn't fit the pipe it needs to fix.

I bought this to fix a leaking PVC drain fitting in a bathtub. This little piece saved tons of work as the leak was between floors and there was no room to cut and install a new piece without pulling out the tub. I used lots of primer and lots of glue to make sure it got into every leak. I moved and put this little wonder back in place and waited 24 hours before attempting to drain again. Leaks are not visible! Thanks very much!

Cannot join open ends around a solid pipe, even with pliers that are starting to tear plastic. Since the ends of the ring cannot be hooked, it will detach from the pipe and the leak will not go away. Now using this screw clamp product around the outside of this long cement ring to see if it works, it still looks fine after two days. Quite an expensive product, and the white on the rings in the bag, obviously lying somewhere in the sun, began to turn yellow.

I have not used the rings but just received the bag. It was cut, opened and re-glued. The quantity was supposed to be ten rings, but the seller removed three rings. How funny they think people can't count :(Now I know why there were less than 10 rings. The customer tried several rings and none worked.
