Do not buy! False advertising

The goods did not come as in the photo. This is false advertising and very misleading. The seller was Bodaway. Deserves no star.

Best MTB Chest Protector

I've used this lightweight chest protector in MTB DH races and bike park rides for several seasons. It's comfortable to wear on pedal days on tough trails in the summer heat and is always a part of my DH MTB gear on shuttle days. Breathes well, prevents multiple broken ribs, does the job for mountain bikers.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Something's Wrong

NOT for mountain biking - comfortable but gets hot

(MTB riders) It's comfortable to wear and fairly low profile (can be worn under a jersey but is noticeable) but gets hot quickly , if you just put it on a few minutes around the house. There just aren't enough vents and the foam padding is quite heavy. I replaced it with a stealth t-shirt from the same company, which is much more breathable. On a higher speed bike I would expect this vest to offer good chest protection and ventilation but in my opinion it's not the best option for mountainโ€ฆ
