trouble-free cast iron.

Having owned this pan for a few weeks I can honestly say it works very well. Came pre-seasoned, but I seasoned it a few times before using it just in case. So far I've cooked steaks, bacon, eggs and countless veggies with no problems, this thing even handles metal utensils like a champ without scraping off the spices. Keeps you warm and is easy to clean. The included silicone lids and potholders insulate the handles very well.

Super happy! in cookware

I've wanted to buy cast iron for a long time. I was between several brands and then I was told that there is no known manufacturer of the best cast iron. So I went with this one and not the other simply because I liked their brand more to be honest. However, I was not disappointed. I followed the seasoning instructions and cooked a steak on them for the first time last night and they turned out amazing! I have a set of silicone cases (which I think is a must have) and they are great! I would…

Cheap frying pan and everything sticks.

Not a good cast iron pan at all. This isn't my first iron either. I don't believe the positive reviews if they are true at all. I've tried every method in the book to season it properly, but everything sticks, I mean everything. Even after all that seasoning, and if you preheat the pan properly and let it cook at a lower temperature, it sticks with even more oil like peanut butter, which has a very high smoke point. Greasy meat, it sticks, whatever you say, it sticks. Brushing with salt doesn't

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

I love my pan! in pans

I love my new pans! These pans require special care, but they're worth it! My food is great and I love it. I follow strict care instructions for this pan because I plan to keep it for years. with soap and water. - Wipe dry and place on the stove to dry out any remaining water. - Season them with corn seed oil (oil the whole pan, including the handle.) - Take a paper towel and wipe the access oil off the spot in the oven where you put it for an hour (yes, that's a long time). Pour oil Turn off…

Going back to cast iron is a good idea. UPDATED 123119

These new cast iron pans are great. This requires a lot of "seasoning" before they are ready to be cooked without sticking. I now cook my morning egg in a cast iron pot on my induction heater. I use the temperature setting @ 320 to preheat with a drop of fresh oil. The temperature is reduced to 280 and the egg is cracked in a frying pan, followed by a temperature change to 240. The boiled egg can be turned over without sticking. At the end I turn off the heat and finish cooking in "roll out…

Quality Cast Iron - Frying Pans

We have really old cast iron, incredibly heavy, aged well and passed down from generation to generation. Children are happy to help us in the kitchen, but they are NOT allowed to cook on or with our cast iron. So we decided to buy them one of them. We started with this 10 inch pan. It's not light at 7.5 pounds, but it's a lot lighter than some of our other products. We got it two weeks ago and spent the first week and a half teaching them how to cook and "season" the pan. Then we finally let…
