Terrible product, avoid at all costs!

This cable is a complete waste of money. As my tests showed, it caused my computer to crash multiple times. The only good thing ABOUT it is that it's long enough to reach from my PC to my printer... Otherwise, its completely useless. Don't bother with this product if you want to avoid headaches and frustration..

Great Connector for Computer Communication

This parallel connector cable is impressive for its length and durability... As my tests showed, it easily connected my computer to peripherals like printers and scanners without any signal interference. The 14-inch length provides excellent flexibility, making it convenient for placement in any workspace. I can type! on cables and connectors

I was trying to use an old DOS program that expects a DOS BIOS and an LPT1 printer. Nothing else will work. My old ASRock Z68 Pro3-M had a BIOS and an LPT1: port but nothing was plugged into it. This, IEEE 1284 printer cable and my old HP 2200 TDN printer and I was in business. Works perfectly. The build quality was excellent. Highly recommended.
