I bought these fuses because I lost a fuse while doing some work on my subsystem. If I remember correctly these fuses are actually slightly lower amperage than the old fuse. However, this did not affect the performance of the subsystem and was not expected. I still have 3 other backups to use for other projects if I need them. I didn't see any quality issues with them.

I'm wondering why these fuses are hard to find and only made in China? Because AGU fuses are only designed for a maximum current of 60 amperes. Due to their design, the ends of the fuses will heat up significantly above 60 watts of amperage, causing the plastic end caps of car audio plug-in fuses to melt. I only found out after I ordered the fuses and fuse holder. All AGU audio fuse holders are rated for a maximum current of 60 amps. The last thing I need is to set the car on fire. It's not…

So I first bought 80 amp fuses from db link and blew all 5. But technically, the math for my amp is around 87 recommended amps, so I figured I picked a little for what I had. Then I bought these 100 amp fuses and blew all 5. At this point I got a little annoyed. So on a whim I tried a different brand of 100 amp amp that was about $3 more and I didn't blow one.
