FINALLY I don't have to get up all the time to change the volume!

It took a while to get it working because I forgot that surround sound (Dolby) is not supported. After changing the settings on my Android TV everything worked fine. I use the AT&T TV App and the AT&T Android TV Box. I thought TosLink and SPDIF were two competing technologies, but they aren't. TosLink is an optical cable and SPDIF is a transmission mode. The only thing I additionally needed was a USB power adapter and I have a lot of them.

Good product when it works

Purchased in August 2019 after finding out my new smart TV didn't have a 3.5mm audio out. Here is my review of the product: Connectivity: Easy to connect and that's probably the best thing about this product.
