I ordered this grip hoping it would be better than the one that came with my motorhome. It's 10 times better than the original! It's longer (which I needed). It's much more reliable than the original and it's a great price! Only $20! Order this grip! You will not be disappointed!

Since the Lippert item I bought to use this grip didn't have the necessary hardware (bolts) to make it work, I think this item is useless too. Since it's not designed to work with Lippert hardware as advertised, it gets 1 star until I find time during the day to figure out a way to get it working.

My husband bought it so he can redo it. It did fit into the fifth wheel hole as intended, but the fifth wheel crank requires a lot of strength and work. It sits at about shoulder height and is difficult to turn due to the height. Nothing against the bar. Something designed by 5th Wheelers. My husband removed the handle and welded a socket wrench to it so the drill could work. We are very glad we bought it, it works great for what we wanted to do with it.

I bought this to use on my spare wheel winch on my caravan. My trailer only had 1 spare wheel but as it is a 2 axle trailer I decided to add another spare wheel. I didn't want the tires on the rear bumper so I mounted them under the trailer. Hence the purchase of a hand crank. This is a much cheaper option than buying power jacks and since I have a drill to install the rear stabilizer jacks it made sense.
