Litter Genie Refill 6 Pack Review

The system works perfectly, but the plastic inserts don't last more than a week and are very expensive. Almost $70 for a 4-pack. 😩

We rescued a cat, we have 3 large dogs and had no experience with cats. The rescue organization recommended this product, it is very easy to use and has no smell.

This system is excellent. Each of these litters contain about 6-8 days of feces from my cat. If you use an odor-suppressing filler, there will be no odor. The bags are strong. I've never had a single breakdown or leak. It took me a while to understand the process of setting it up, but it's pretty easy once you try.

I ordered these 6 packs of filler for my ghost. The first one I used is no problem. Worked as expected. 2nd and 3rd work incorrectly. The bag is folded in half and I can't find the beginning to tie it. I had to cut off a layer so I could use it for its intended purpose. Be very careful when ordering these products online. They are too expensive to throw away because of a defect.

The Litter Genie system is generally very smart but the cartridges are too expensive and I was tired of cutting bags. Based on another reviewer's suggestion, I asked the company if they could offer a one-time option as well. I've tried the alternative of using a 7 or 8 gallon trash bag secured with a blank cartridge and I prefer it as you know how much it will hold and you don't have to cut it. The Litter Genie Container is great for job control.

I've had Litter Genie for about 3 or 4 years. I have 6 cats and they are all house kittens between 14 and 1 year old. They have 3 trash cans and I believe Litter Genie is the reason my house doesn't smell. In fact, most visitors don't know that I have 6 cats. The Litter Genie is very similar to a diaper genie in that it's easy to keep clean, can hold quite a bit of waste, and the bags are easy to swap out. I would definitely recommend it to other cat owners, especially if they are house cats.

For some reason their quality seems to be declining. More than once I couldn't find a place to attach in the plastic tube that becomes the liner of the jar (it used to be a little label or tab), this is a waste of a lot of plastic. Also, it is becoming increasingly difficult to peel off the plastic bezel to gain access to the inner tube. In fact, I had to use scissors to cut it. Finally, how about packing everything in an extra plastic bag in the shipping carton? What part of the plastic is not

Extremely disappointed after opening the second of six to find the opening of the bag buried seven feet into the plastic casing. There is no choice but to pull the bag out until an open end is seven feet inside the bag. I was hoping this would be an improvement over the old round containers. It's too late to come back and trying to slide the case back into the plastic case is next to impossible. Absolutely disgusting. For the price I was expecting something reliable, but got these defective…
