This is the best part of my home theater.

I have had my 880 for many years. I hope to be able to use it for many more years. I was skeptical, I hated universal remotes and each one didn't offer full functionality which meant I was always digging the remote out of the drawer. what was the point A friend of mine, whose experience I trusted and who had similar doubts about universal remotes, told me, "Just buy it. go get one next month or if you don't like it i'll buy it off you". I thought it was the best risk free deal I could ever get.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great remote control, but unfortunately discontinued!

I have had 3 of these in the last 8 years and love them but unfortunately they are no longer made. You can still buy "new ones" but I'm unlucky with it sometimes because in the electronic age some keys "double tap". If you're unfamiliar with Logitech remotes, they're great. There is a program that you download onto your computer, then enter the items you have by manufacturer and model number. It takes a little while, but it's worth it. You then set up events like "watch TV" by answeringโ€ฆ

Works great but doesn't last long

I currently have a second Harmony 880. The features are great and while it works it's excellent. It does everything I bought it for and is very adaptable as your TV system components change over time. However, I have found that the devices do not last as long as they should. With normal use in a household with minors, or maybe a household with multiple users who don't handle the Harmony with kid gloves, you'll notice this after a while (maybe 6 months, not long for such an expensive product). ,

Pros
  • Great range
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Buttons and Indicators - OH MY

Where do I start? With 8 kids, battery theft is a constant problem and remote controls should by nature be within the reach of almost everyone. Having 6 remotes on the table creates an irresistible temptation for dozing AA members. This remote control is the solution. Once programmed (plan for a rainy day for the first stage) it will work with our A/V system, TV, network BluRay, CATV, DVR, DVD and PS3 with plenty of room for expansion and also has its own charger/battery , that will not work in

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • I'm worried

Harmony 880 is a true UNIVERSAL remote control

PROS:* Looks great.* Highly customizable.* Place commands where you want them to appear on screen.* You can simulate any command on any remote.* You can learn commands that aren't in stored in the Logitech database. by juxtaposing the 880 remote with your remotes. * Screen function with 4 buttons on the left and 4 more on the right is a great idea. and the volume up and down buttons control my big screen tv. this. Any button can control any device you want. CONS: * Programming requires internet

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some little things

Integrates control of my peripherals

INTRODUCTION Needs a universal remote control for my TV, digital cable box, BluRay player, Wii, and DVD/CD-G Karaoke player. I chose this model because it can be pre-programmed keys (from the internet) onto the remote control. I was looking for a remote that had codes that I could just download instead of tediously pressing buttons to have the remote "learn" different functions. There were many devices in the Logitech Harmony line, and all the devices I had connected were in their database. toโ€ฆ
