The combs don't hold my hair tight enough so after a few gentle head movements they slide right over my head. I have other combs with this design and they are amazing - they hold my hair perfectly. But if you're looking for a hairbrush, then this isn't it. It's more of a decorative element for a braid. The ribs are not designed to lock, so they just slide down. Nice but useless.
