🧠 LS2 Helmets Assault I Heart Brains Full Face Motorcycle Helmet W/SunShield - Black/Glow, XXX-Large: Enhanced Protection and Style Review

I contacted the seller and asked if the helmet glows in the dark but there is no reply from them 😡. I'm glad I did and very happy with the helmet. At first I thought it was a bit cramped, but after a day or two the situation calmed down. I just needed a break from driving!

Use the full face helmet on long trips to communicate via Cardo and listen to audio books. With other helmets I've used I couldn't hear the sound well enough to enjoy the ride and listen to a book when I got tired of the riding noise. With this helmet, the sound was clear at low volume. At 70 to 80 mph there is almost no wind noise or vibration. For this quality I would have expected a much higher price.

I love this helmet. I forgot how the helmet should fit. All the upholstery on my old Shoei was disassembled. This one is nice and cozy. At first I thought it was too tight, but I've worn it around the house and got used to it. Something like ski boots! Feels tight at first but after a while they are just nice and snug. One star less because the sun visor has a huge nostril. Even great for Pinocchio! He misses the shine. I'll add a dark band over it.

This is a really good helmet. It has pretty decent ventilation and wind noise is relatively low. compared to helmets that cost about the same. The size is a bit small. I first ordered the large size which I usually wear but it turned out to be too small so I took the XL size. It sits better on my head but is still a bit tight on my cheeks - I'm sure it will fit well after a few rides. . Otherwise I love this helmet!

I liked almost everything about this helmet except the fit (not the helmet's fault as I found my head shape to be long, oval and not in between) the color looks fantastic looking, the fold down sun visor is nice and low, when I checked the ventilation with a fan I actually felt a lot of air moving (never on a bike so don't take it with a grain of salt). I was looking for a good fitting helmet with an integrated sun visor for about $200. After a long search in 11 stores, I only found TWO that sat comfortably on my head, so I bought both: LS2 Assault (color: matte aluminum) and Scorpion EXO-T520 (white). This is my second LS2 helmet, the first lasted 2 years and I got this one just in case my riding instructor explained that the padding in helmets that saves your brain in a crash is like styrofoam and breaks over time / gets microcracks every time the helmet is dropped.
