Almost perfect for me

Order one size up first than you usually wear. In my opinion, the cheeks are still a little tight. It's pretty quiet and warm when zipped up and can open the face shield and block about 1/4 inch for air. Chin guard can be folded backwards by 180° (does not point straight up). like a sail) and can still drop the face shield or just use the internal sun visor. When it gets dark, I just raise the inner sun visor and lower the visor. A GoPro mounted on a chin guard will receive rear view video when

No DOT Sticker: Protective Gear

Disclaimer. I am a husband and this is my wife, let's remember. This particular helmet has no DOT FMVSS NO. Sticker 210 CERTIFIED. It is illegal to travel to the US without them. I have to send it back because the company that sent it is based in the Netherlands. This should be stated in the description. I gave one star because the DOT is missing and not because of the quality of the helmet. I have 2 original LS2 Valiant helmets and wanted to upgrade them. It's also true that helmets run small.

Best Modular Helmet With Lower Bar Fully Extendable Behind Helmet

This is a GREAT helmet and probably the best modular helmet on the market. The bottom bar of the face shield moves up and behind the helmet so you can wear it like a 3/4 helmet while riding. You can wear the face shield up or down, whether the front bar is on the back or not. They are also easily removed/replaced with a pin-lock system and have a range of options including iridium shields. The internal sun visor is easy to use and beautifully tinted. It has enough vents for airflow so my head…

GREAT HELMET! suitable for protective equipment

I saw that when I visited a car dealership. I looked at the Scorpion version but it's not available in the States. I saw the Valiant and really liked its features. Some plus points after 2000 miles of wear (about 1.5 months of driving as it is cold weather 15-25 F and snowy weather). 1 chin goes back and it's cool to be streamlined! Real open face feeling 3/4. 2 Good size visor 3 Quick release chin strap 4 With tinted visor! 5 A good backpack and helmet bag and some kind of neck brace. not sure

Pros
  • easy assembly
Cons
  • for seniors
