Great customer service, great product

Worked as advertised. I have all steering wheel controls functional and information about the car is available. I ran into installation issues and here's the review: They have GREAT tech support. I wish I could remember her name but she was friendly and knowledgeable (more than I did) about the product and my car. I'm all about customer service and so are they. This is repeated on the data block where the cable is connected.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Expensive

Surprisingly simple interface

Much better than the PAC integration options. Worth the slightly higher price. It's as simple as the manufacturer claims. The steering wheel control works perfectly and does not require additional complicated programming. This will be the interface I will use in all future installs. The customer support is way better than Audio-PAC. They really helped solve the problem I was at fault for, unlike PAC who didn't suggest anything. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

Waste of money. Crutchfield and many electronics sites have stated that you need this suspension to work with the 2010 Ford Fusion SE. So I bought it. I cut off half of the seat belt and threw it away. Had to cut off the RCA plugs because my machine wasn't preamplified like the higher models and then hooked them up to my Kenwood KDT head unit. All in all it took too long, no plug and play and most importantly a waste of money. All I needed were speaker wire (8 wires), ground, remote control…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No service

2011 F350 with Factory Navigation

Updated Rating. After the freezing issues I called tech support and it turned out that I had to disconnect something I had connected to the main unit. Now it works very well. I don't have all controls on the steering wheel. So I'm upgrading it to 4 stars but I'm shy about 5 stars. Not as easy as my truck claims. I've pulled my reader unit out a few times to try and get the steering wheel controls to work. At first they work, but after I turn everything off and come back, they stop working. I…

Confusing at first, great product in the end.

At first I was very confused. I have never installed a smart radio. Especially in a newer car with sync function and steering wheel controls. So after opening the Maestro data kit and the F0-1 kit, I spent an hour looking at them and figuring out where all those wires went. The instructions were very vague. After about 4 hours of research online I finally found a picture of my exact make and model and was able to follow the instructions fairly easily. Also, flashing the device was completely…
