I received this magnetic latch for the top of a greenhouse door that didn't close tight, secured it with the tape provided and left it overnight. The next day when the door was opened a metal latch with a magnet in it detached from the door frame and stuck to the door when he tried to remove the magnet it detached. I bought these magnets to keep the flap closed which sometimes likes to open on its own. I ended up using two of these on the door but tried one first then progressed to three but two gives the best of both worlds because one wasn't enough and three was too much. Actually, two is too many, but I had to do it because you just couldn't keep the door closed the way I wanted. With two of them it's a little hard to open unless you give it a good jab.
